our story

this was the condition of james a few months after getting her. the story goes like this…

she kept bleeding because of her breaking her feathers due to its itchiness. the vets diagnosed her with mites tracing back to the environment she grew up in (the store i got her from). after many payments and pain, we got through it together.

i want NO bird owners to have to go through all the pain i had to go through. i want to start something better, especially in singapore.

I wanted to ensure that the quality of care to birds all over the world keeps getting better. and in Singapore, it needs a lot of improvement.

looking at this article by the straits times (which I got this photo from), more than 60% of bird shops Singapore fail one or more basic welfare conditions. and this is just a few years ago. and nothing has changed since then. I felt that I had to do something to stop this mistreatment of birds here in Singapore.

so, our mission is simple.
